Manon – Teacher and GTP trainee

Manon van Herwijnen studied History at the university of Nijmegen. Then she worked several years as a consultant in a company for ‘work and jobtraining’ and became the mother of two wonderful daughters. For 16 years now, she works as a teacher with pupils of different ages. After several additional training, she is now a senior teacher with tasks in the field of art and culture.

Her school works for years with much success and learning fun with the Global Teenager Project. She became a trainee for ICT&E after working with classes in Learning Circles, experiencing the importance and value of increasing knowledge for her pupils of people and cultures all over the world.

Her goal as a teacher is to create conditions to allow pupils to discover their own learning strength. It is therefore that she is looking forward to assist the pupils in the 2013 GTP Taiwan Summer Camp.
